2026 Municipal Election gENERAL iNFORMATION
eLECTION dATES
The next municipal election is scheduled for October 28, 2026. (See locations map below)
The Advanced Voting Station is scheduled for October 20, 2026 at the Administration Office at 285 Main Street, Stonewall from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
WHERE TO VOTE
The RM of Rockwood is made up of six wards, each represented by a Councillor.

VOTING BY A SEALED ENVELOPE
If you cannot attend the election in person and wish to vote, you are able to vote by sealed envelope.

2026 MUNICIPAL ELECTION - VOTER ELIGIBILITY
Resident Voters: In order to be eligible to vote in an election, a person must be:
- a Canadian citizen
- at least 18 years of age on election day; and
- a resident of, or a property owner of the municipality, as of April 28, 2026
Non-Resident Voters: For municipal elections only (excludes school division elections), non-resident landowners are eligible to vote in an election. In order to be eligible, the person must be:
- a Canadian citizen
- at least 18 years of age on election day; and
- a registered landowner of land in the municipality for at least six months on election day.
A maximum of two non-resident voters per property are permitted to vote in a municipal election.
