Rockwood Connect Notification System

The Municipality of Rockwood is now using Rockwood CONNECT, a highspeed mass notification system to keep you safe in the event of an emergency. The system allows the Rockwood Emergency Management Board to deliver emergency messages to you via landline phone or mobile device and through text and email.

It is FREE to sign up for Rockwood CONNECT, and it is also very important to do so, because if your contact information is not in the database, then you will not receive alerts if an emergency were in your area.

Disaster Financial Assistance
Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) program is now available to support Manitobans affected by heavy rains and overland flooding in June 2026. DFA helps individuals, farms, and businesses recover by providing financial assistance for uninsurable losses. Residents are encouraged to contact their insurance provider first.
Manitoba Emergency Management Organization (EMO) recognizes that overland flood insurance is not always available or included in standard coverage. As a result, this program will assess gaps, with additional targeted support available for vulnerable populations of those that do not have the financial means to recover on their own.
