Well Water Testing Program - Drop Off Dates June 10 & June 24
Test Your Well Water—Protect Your Health
For many rural Manitobans, well water is a way of life—but it’s also your responsibility to ensure it’s safe. Unlike municipal systems, private wells aren’t monitored, and contaminants like bacteria or nitrates can be present without any taste, smell, or colour.
Weather, flooding, and nearby land use can all impact your water quality, even if your well has tested safe before. That’s why it’s recommended to test your well water at least once a year, especially in the spring.
Regular testing is a simple, affordable way to catch problems early and protect your family’s health.
