SEASONAL OPERATIONS MAINTENANCE / EQUIPMENT OPERATOR EMPLOYEE

The Rural Municipality of Rockwood invites applications for the position of Operations Maintenance / Equipment Operator Employee (Seasonal). 

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the position will be required to assist the Operations Department and perform general municipal related work, as well as vacation fill in for the Grader operators.

QUALIFICATIONS – Operations Maintenance/Equipment Operator Employee (Seasonal):

1.                  Grader operation for road maintenance and building (Cat 160M and John Deere 872GP grader)

2.                  Valid Province of Manitoba Driver’s Class (5) Licence (Class 3 preferred)

3.                  Experience in a Public Works related field would be an asset

4.                  Good interpersonal skills to deal with the public

5.                  Knowledge in the operation and maintenance of different equipment (tandem, loader, tractor/mower)

6.                  Mechanically inclined

7.                  Ability to work under minimal supervision

8.                  Salary Range $21.90 - $32.59 / Hr – dependent on qualifications
