Oak Hammock Marsh

The Oak Hammock Marsh and Interpretive Center is located 20 minutes north of Winnipeg on PTH No. 67, just east of PTH No. 7.

Oak Hammock Marsh Wildlife Management Area is 36 square kilometers of tall prairie grass, meadow and marsh. In this area one can fine more than 280 species of birds and hundreds of insects, amphibians, mammals and reptiles.

The Harry J. Enns Wetland Discovery Centre offers many ways to connect with wetlands with several workshops and special events throughout the year. We also offer a diversity of daily activities which will appeal to all ages. Take in a guided canoe excursion through the marsh in summer or strap on some snowshoes and look for animal tracks in winter. There is something different to see every season.
