Stay Connected. Register Today.
We are pleased to announce the launch of Connect Rockwood our new communication system. Along with a new website and mobile apps we will keep you alerted on the latest news and events, weather and emergency alert messages from Canada’s national emergency alerting system (Alert Ready).
You decide how you want to receive information, whether it be by text messages, social media, phone calls to either your cell phone or landline, e-mails or any combination you choose.
We are also able to send messages to specific geographic locations so we can let you know about issues affecting your neighbourhood.  Be sure that your house location is accurate on the Google map during the registration process so we don't miss you.

What types of messages will I get?

  • Anyone that signs up for Rockwood Connect will automatically receive messages from Canada's national emergency alerting system (Alert Ready).  These messages originate from all levels of government, Environment Canada and the RCMP.
  • We will send you alerts on issues affecting your neighbourhood.
  • You will be able to sign up to receive information from various departments, such as administration, utility, transportation, recreation, etc.  You can change your preferences at any time by logging into your account or contacting the office at (204) 467-2272.

What if I don't have access to a computer?

You can still sign up for Rockwood Connect to receive phone calls to your landline, or if you have a cell phone you can receive phone calls or text messages on your device.  You can contact the RM of Rockwood office at (204) 467-2272 to get assistance with signing up or you can fill out a form and drop it off at the RM Office at 285 Main Street, Stonewall.  Click here to download the form.
